100 Years !

The Christamore House Guild is celebrating 100 years of service!  Please join us as we move toward our goal of 1,000 supporters donating $100 to form an endowment fund to assure 100 more wonderful years of service to the House. You may use the Donate Now button on this page. Thank you for your support.

The Christamore House Guild (formerly Christamore Aid Society) was founded in 1908 by Martha Stewart Carey. The organization is dedicated to providing volunteer services and financial support for the Christamore Settlement House. It has grown from a small group of young women working with immigrants who settled in the area, to a thriving service organization of more than 300 active and associate members. The Christamore House Guild is an incorporated, tax-exempt, not-for-profit organization.  Please go to the Guild History page for more information about the Christamore House Guild.

Thank you to all of the patrons of the 2008 Book and Author luncheon. The event raised over $65,000 for the Francis Coburn Carter Scholarship fund. The 2009 luncheon is scheduled for April 17, 2009. Please check back at this site for new information as it becomes available. Tickets will go on sale in March 2009.
